Chunky Panday To Play Ananya Panday’s On-screen Father?
It was reported earlier that her father, Chunky Panday was supposed to be a part of her upcoming movie with Vijay Deverakonda, who is one of the most popular superstars from the South film industry. The duo will be joining forces for ‘Fighter’. This movie by Puri Jagannadh is going to be a multi-lingual action entertainer.
Chunky Panday reportedly was about to share the screen with Ananya Panday and play the role of Ananya Panday’s on-screen dad. Though this news left the fans super excited. However, later he revealed in a conversation with Mumbai Mirror that it was nothing but a rumor. Also, he shared that he would like to be a part of the movie with Anaya Panday and be her on-screen dad any day.
Chunky Panday’s Wish Was To Make Ananya Panday A Doctor
Chunky Panday, who was seen in the movie series, ‘Housefull’, has also shared his desire to look at Ananya Panday as a doctor like her grandparents. However, Ananya Panday followed her dad in Bollywood instead. She even bagged a Filmfare Aware, which thrilled the actor and made him proud too.

Chunky Panday on Nepotism
Chunky Panday also talked about Ananya Panday on the context of nepotism and insider and outsider that surfaced around the unfortunate and abrupt death of Sushant Singh Rajput. In this situation where the entire country was triggered against the rule of nepotism that probably existed in the Bollywood industry, many other celebrities also chose to write their opinion. Some wrote for the statement, while others denied being a part of nepotism in the industry.
Chunky Panday also came forward to put his side of opinion on the entire issue. As he reportedly stated that the new generation is very dependent and is capable of choosing their own careers. He also revealed his that parents too, wanted Chunky Panday to be a doctor like them but they failed to convince him and he chose his path as an actor.
On his take on Ananya Panday being called out as a product of nepotism, he shared that he had also given Ananya much freedom so she could opt for her own career. He also added that her decision to become an actor also reflects in her movies.
According to the actor, he does not believe there is anything like an insider or outsider exists. People become a part of the industry from the moment he or she signs in. It all takes is the first assignment to become an insider. He also believes that the industry gives people equal opportunities to work in the industry.

Also, Ananya Panday shared her view that she always wanted to be an actor just like her father. So she would never deny any opportunity. She also feels that it is not as easy as people think it to be and she shared that it took her through a lot of struggle to become a part of the industry.
