The film industry is based on people with dreams and ambitions. A movie gives us happiness and is a deferred reality. Initially, the ritual was that the audience would take in whatever they were fed to them. With the change of notions, ideologies, and tastes, the audience is demanding more logical and rational content. They are saying no to sexist, homophobic or transphobic, racist, etc type of contents and is up for those which will enlighten them, which will change their backdated mindset.

A director or a producer can cast whoever they want, its a free market, but if one is actively dissuading others from casting a particular actor or actress, that thing needs to be called out. This ritual needs to stop. Sushant Singh Rajput is an epitome of how someone’s downfall of career can sabotage someone’s life, and it would be a matter of time that more such news would be flashing as headlines on the television and mobile screens.
