You can also use it after bathing if you don’t prefer moisturizers. Use Lotions

Just like moisturizers, lotions to help protect the skin. Lotions have hydrating elements and smoothen and soften the skin. Unlike the moisturizers, lotions have higher water content and thus bring back the lost moisture to the skin. It is of lighter weight and non-greasy. Lotions get mixed with the skin easily. It contains fatty acids that prevent the pores lose all the moisture. Go for the virgin pressed coconut oils such as Organic India Virgin Coconut Oil, Max Care Cold Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil. Aloe Vera Gel

Another important cure for the dry skin is aloe vera gel. It contains cooling elements that help to reduce irritation and itchiness and retains moisture. It is also beneficial for sensitive skin. Use it in small amounts, excessive use might lead to the opposite. Hang the aloe vera stem overnight, keeping the open-side upside down so that the yellow juice gets out of the gel. Scoop out the gel and apply it on your skin. Other Skincare Tips for Dry Skin – Dry Skin Care Routine

1-Other than using products, there are several other ways in which we can effectively avoid dry skin.

2-Try to cut off the bathing time. Don’t spend 20-long-minutes and reduce it to 10mins. It will not only reduce the loss of skin oil but also the loss of water. Try to use lukewarm water- Avoid too cold or too hot. In case you need to use hot water, don’t forget to moisturize after bathing,

3-Drink enough water. Nothing works better than this. It keeps your body all time hydrated and compensates for the lost moisture.

4-Avoid dry soaps and instead, use shower gels or gentle skin cleansers or even baby soaps. They are normally creamy and comes with moisturizing elements. Few known brands are Dove Body Wash Fresh Moisture, Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash, Johnson’s Baby Soap.
