But after the death, several hidden facts have been popping up on the social media feeds. Blame games and different theories are emerging day by day. Not to forget the amount of fake news circulating like a cyclone. But the grass is always greener on the other side.

There are actors and actresses who have been in the industry for several years and yet could not make it big in the charts. They are coming up and sharing the reasons behind it. How they are discriminated against as “outsiders” and they are not getting a chance to work with the big-shot production houses.

But one of the prominent reasons and topics everyone is highlighting is the fact of nepotism in Bollywood. It has heightened and has been glorified in Bollywood over the years. It has ruined the very foundation of the entertainment industry. Very nepotism examples of segregation.

How Nepotism in India is Blossoming in Bollywood?

Any film industry’s success owes to its audience. But in recent times, the Indian audience has been complaining about the quality of the industry. The movie plots, storylines, direction, music, and acting- and how it is degrading day by day. Nowadays, the viewers not just slumping in front of the TV and slouching on the sofa and consuming gibberish and absurdity. But are woke and ready to educate themselves within a limited time.

Dignitary producers like Karan Johar are casting these star kids instead of the “outsiders” who do not have the required and minimum acting skills, thus damaging a whole movie. However, this scenario is not always the case because of the nepotism in Bollywood. Artists like Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, or Alia Bhatt are Nepotism examples that have worked hard to earn a position. Their acting is much appreciated and applauded.

They are saying no to sexist, homophobic or transphobic, racist, etc type of contents and is up for those which will enlighten them, which will change their backdated mindset.

A director or a producer can cast whoever they want, its a free market, but if one is actively dissuading others from casting a particular actor or actress, that thing needs to be called out. This ritual needs to stop. Sushant Singh Rajput is an epitome of how someone’s downfall of career can sabotage someone’s life, and it would be a matter of time that more such news would be flashing as headlines on the television and mobile screens.

The term ‘nepotism’ is derived from the Italian word ‘nipote’, which means nephew. Nepotism refers to a form of unfair workplace procedure when family members or friends of the boss or manager are hired not purely for their skills, experience, or knowledge. Nepotism in India or Nepotism in Bollywood is more common in family-run companies, nonprofits, and smaller firms. Often, the employed relative is unable to successfully perform in the role. Furthermore, creating a job outline specifically tailored to a relative is also a form of nepotism, as is setting an interview exam to which the relative has already been told all the answers.
