A NEW EXPERIMENT AGAIN DONE BY THE INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM: OMISSION OF CHAPTERS

Yet again a new experiment is done by the honorable Indin Education System. Now, CBSE took a step ahead did the deed. Because for the sake of the pandemic, CBSE omitted 30% of the syllabus from classes 9-12, since the re-opening of the schools is uncertain and online classes are not accessible by all the students. Reasonable enough. Then, what is the issue? The issue is with the chapters that are being omitted and an educated person cannot help but notice the name of the chapters.

For class 10, the social science crucial chapters are Democracy and Diversity, Popular Struggles and Movements, Challenges to Democracy; chapters on Democracy, Secularism, Federalism, Citizenship for class 12 political science; GST, Foreign Policies, and Demonetisation for Business Studies; Food Rights in India, Democratic Rights, Population for class 9; International Trade in Geography; Job application with resume in English composition and many more such important chapters. Now the question arises, why such chapters are excluded given that they form a base to a person’s opinions and help them know their country better?

NCERT PRODUCES THE BOOKS FOR CBSE SCHOOLS

Social media platforms were on fire since the morning of Wednesday and memes started spreading like wildfire. It might seem happy news for the current students, but the ones who are in college or are already facing the real world says that the decision is not right. Our education curriculum is moreover backdated and has been using for decades, with no new improvements, and on top of that elimination of chapters, won’t do any good to the students, when they are the future of the country. They are becoming handicapped day by day with constant treatment like a guinea pig. The future of the final year students are already uncertain and with the new circular, things are getting worse.

Why not delete the ones which are just being brushed and rubbed for ages? Seems like the present government just want to make dummies who will listen to them blindly without having their own opinions. Or is it just the innuendo given about our future? Well, let’s just say the unemployment rate isn’t going to flat any time soon, and we will be having more production of nincompoop in the country.
