Money Heist, the Spanish heist crime drama is about to come forward with its latest and last series, season 5. The series blew up on the international stage after Netflix picked up the series in 2017. It involves a group of robbers who were given the task of stealing buildings by occupying them. The entire act of crime would be done on behalf of a nameless boss, the Professor. It has carved a large number of fanbases across the globe.

Álex Pina Talked About Season 5
The creator of the show, Álex Pina revealed that producer work of the series has already started. “We’ve spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band,” Pina added. He is also thinking to put the character of The Professor on a wider aspect.

Summary of Money Heist Season 4
The last season begins with saving Nairobi (Alba Flores) after getting shot by a sniper, as shown at the end of season 3. Although as the series builds up, she was shown shot in her head that killed immediately by Gandia (Jose Manuel Poga), while he tried to escape. This had left the fan heartbroken and also there rises a question about what happened to Professor Álvaro Morte as he got tracked down by Sierra (Najwa Nimri).

Money Heist season 5 is set to follow the cliffhanger at the end of part four for fans to find out what will happen to the Professor. So this time, Netflix has confirmed that “there is going to be a fifth [season]” as reported by the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia. So the crew has revealed a few things about the upcoming season which has already started a countdown among the fans.
Will There Be an End to Lisbon?
This question arises as Álvaro Morte talks about his desire to see the end of the character. He even added to the statement, “ I think at one point, I’d like to see him go back to that loneliness, that solitary life that he’s more used to and seems more comfortable in.” This might be a hint to the fans about the probable separation between The Professor and Lisbon (Raquel Murillo).
Two New Characters Are to Be Introduced
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Álex Pina, the creator of the show has confirmed that Ángel Silvestre and Patrick Criado are going to join the cast in the next season. Also, the upcoming series of Money Heist will delve deeper into the character of Manila (Belén Cuesta), who is the childhood friend of Denver (Jaime Lorente).

The Conflict Between Alicia and the Professor
As Money Heist season 4 revealed that Alicia Sierra had discovered the hideout of The Professor by taking him to gunpoint, there is suspense about what is the outcome of the standoff between the two.
