1. Mac Miller – Circles

Mac Miller’s sixth studio album, Circles, cements the legacy left by the young trailblazer. After his sudden death in September 2018, he left behind a small gift of music, which Miller’s family and producer Jon Brion packaged into Circles. “Circles” is a companion album to 2018’s “Swimming” the concept being “swimming in circles” on which he was working at the time of his death.

2. Pop Smoke- Shoot For The Stars

The 20-year-old singer had released two well-regarded mixtapes and was working on his debut album after his death during a home invasion in February. “Shoot for the Stars” was set release on June 12, but got delayed out of respect for the protests going on due to the death of George Floyd. It was finally released on July 3rd to critical acclaim, and even earned the rapper his first No. 1 album and first top 20 hits on the Hot 100. With that, he joins the Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, and XXXTentacion, as the only rappers to posthumously debut atop the charts, according to Billboard.

3. Juice Wrld- Legends Never Die

Legends Never Die is the third studio album by American rapper Juice Wrld, released posthumously following his death due to seizure on December 8, 2019. It released on the 10th of July, 2020, through Grade A Productions and Interscope Records.

4. Sushant Singh Rajput- Dil Bechara

Given the uncertainty over theatres reopening, Dil Bechara premiered on Disney+ Hotstar, on the 24th of July. This is Mukesh Chhabra’s first film as director and is a remake of the 2012 bestseller book The Fault In Our Stars. The story is about two cancer patients who meet in a support group and fall in love. This would be Shushant’s last movie as the actor committed suicide on the 14th of June 2020.

5. James Dean- Finding Jack

Finding Jack is a yet-to-release war film directed by Anton Ernst and Tati Golykh and written by Mari Sova. The film is an adaptation of Gareth Crocker’s novel of the same name, based on accounts of the abandonment of thousands of canine units at the end of the Vietnam War.

James Dean has been cast in the lead role; despite his death in 1955 at age 24, his performance will be created by newly-constructed digital footage based on film and photographs of Dean. Pre-production for the movie began on November 17, 2019, with a release initially tied into Veterans Day (November 11) 2020.
