‘Sushant Singh Rajput Commits Suicide’, the death that has moved the entire country and has left everyone in utter sadness. It is still an unsolved mystery if it is a murder or suicide. All of his fans are flooding social media for seeking justice for Sushant Singh Rajput even after the 3 years of his death.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s unfortunate demise took place on 14th June 2020, in his house which is located in Bandra West, Mumbai that stirred up the entire country’s sentiment. This case of suicide took up a new turn, when the late actor’s father, Mr KK Singh, filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant’s girlfriend. There were five others including Rhea Chakraborty who has been accused of aiding the Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. This incident took place on Tuesday, 28th July 2020. It has also appeared that Rhea Chakraborty used to deliberately give Sushant ‘mysterious medicines’ as per multiple accusations.

In this context, there have been many people commenting and blaming Rhea Chakraborty for the demise of the actor. Therefore, to stand against all the claims, Rhea Chakraborty came up with her video in her defense, on Saturday 31st July 2020. In this video, she spoke about her faith in ‘God and the judiciary’. She also talks about how ‘horrible things have been said’ about her on social media. However, she denied to comment anything against all the blames and trolling. She concludes with ‘Satyamev Jayate. The truth shall prevail.’

In the clip, Rhea Chakraborty was seen wearing a white salwar suit, on which Sushant Sigh Rajput’s family lawyer; Vikas Singh opined that Rhea would have ‘never worn that kind of salwar suit ever’. Also, he added how she differs from the one that she has portrayed in the video statement.  He says she appears to be a simple woman, which, according to the lawyer, she is not. This statement has been recorded by ANI.

This opinion has also been accused to be misogynistic. The comment on what a girl should wear is generally not welcomed by this generation, however, to take in consideration the intention of the family lawyer of Sushant Singh Rajput was not to point out her attire but only to bring out the wrong interpretation of how Rhea Chakraborty portrayed herself.

Rhea Chakraborty’s Verdict to Supreme Court

Rhea Chakraborty says she was in a live-in relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput until June 8, 2020. She has also filed a plea to shift the case from Patna to Mumbai within the Supreme Court. She has also talked about how Sushant was suffering from depression.

Vikas has also weighed the investigation done by the Mumbai Police under the defence of Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddav Thackeray. He has claimed that the interpretation of the law was not correctly done by Maharashtra CM. So he wants the matter to be handed over to Bihar Police to have a fair investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. He has also asked people to come forward with any shreds of evidence they can produce.

Recent Advancements in The Case

On August 19, 2020, the SSR case was transferred to CBI to probe more on this matter. CBI interrogated multiple related people in the SSR case including Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, and his house manager Samuel Miranda.

The case was known to be taking new turns each day resulting in the arrest of Rhea Chakraborty on September 8, 2020. She was then granted bail on October 7, 2020. The case is still going on however, recently Rhea Chakraborty was given a big relief by the supreme court after a thorough investigation of the case. The Supreme Court was informed by the Narcotics Control Bureau that they are not going to challenge her bail for drugs related probe in the SSR suicide case.

The entire country is grief-stricken even after years of the actor’s demise. It has become near to impossible to process the news that Sushant Singh Rajput is no more with us. Although several steps have been taken, the truth about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has still not prevailed. We are all waiting eagerly to get the mysterious death to be solved and hoping to get justice for Sushant Singh Rajput.
