1. Sprout salad
Sprouts are a healthy choice for salad. They help in boosting your metabolic processes and increases blood circulation. Moong sprouts salad is a tasty and healthy recipe you all would look for. Sprouts salads are a great option for breakfast. It is considered one of the famous healthy salad recipes anyone can try.
1-3 cups sprouted moong dal 2- 1 onion, finely chopped 3- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped 4- green chili, finely chopped 5- ¼ tbsp red chili powder 6- 1/2 tbsp lemon juice 7- One boiled potato, finely chopped 8- Coriander leaves for garnish 9- lemon slices for garnishing 10- black salt 11- ½ tbsp chaat masala
1- Boil moong dal sprouts 2- First you have to sprout the moong dal 3- When the moong sprouts are ready, rinse them in water. 4- Then boil them till the sprouts are completely cooked. 5- Strain the cooked sprouts. 6- Take 2 cups of boiled moong sprouts in a big bowl. 7- Add 1 finely chopped onion and 1 finely chopped tomato. 8- Next add 1 finely chopped green chili. Also, add 1 boiled potato. 9- Now, add ¼ tbsp red chili powder and ½ tbsp chaat masala. Mix well 10-Lastly, season with salt and add 1 tbsp lemon juice. Mix well. 11- Garnish it with coriander leaves and lemon slices. 12- Serve sprouts salad immediately.
2. Marinated vegetable salad
The freshness of the raw veggies, the crispness of the roasted nuts, and flavors of fresh herbs come together in one healthy bowl. So, this salad will make you feel fresh and it’s vegan.
Healthy salad dressing recipe
1- 2 tbsp of castor sugar
2- 1 long red chilli- deseeded and finely chopped
3- Half a tbsp of lemon juice
4- One-fourth tbsp of rice bran oil
5- 2 tbsp of rice wine vinegar
1-Peel and chop the veggies 2- Heat a pan and dry roast all the seeds and nuts till crisp and lightly browned. Keep aside. 3- In a small bowl, whisk all the ingredients well for the dressing. And then, add the dressing in the bowl containing vegetables. 4- Toss them well to coat all the veggies with the dressing. Sprinkle the roasted seeds and dry fruits. 5- Now, sprinkle the spices and herbs 6- Add mayonnaise 7- Serve the vegetable salad immediately.
3. Greek Salad
This is a good Greek salad recipe, nice and tangy, and even better in the summer when you use fresh vegetables.
For the salad
1-grape or cherry tomatoes halved 2- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced 3- 2 halved olives 4- ½ red onion, thinly slice and ¾ cup crumbled feta
1- 2 tbsp red vinegar 2- ½ tbsp lemon juice 3-1 tbsp dried oregano 4-Kosher salt 5- Freshly ground black pepper 6-olive oil
Make the salad
1- In a large bowl, stir together tomatoes, cucumber, olives, and red onion
2-Gently fold in feta.
Make the dressing
1-Combine vinegar, lemon juice, and oregano and season with salt and pepper.
2- Slowly add olive oil, whisking to combine and drizzle dressing over salad.
4. Summer Corn Salad
Corn is healthy as any cereal grain, as it’s rich in fiber and many vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It makes the perfect summer dish. And it’s so easy to make with no cooking involved. You can replace the cheese with mozzarella, parmesan, or any other if you don’t need feta.
1-3 cups corns 2- 2 onions, finely chopped 3- 1 cucumber, finely chopped 4-¼ teaspoon red chili powder 5- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 6- One tablespoon chopped coriander leaves or ½ tablespoon chopped parsley 7- 1 teaspoon lemon juice 8-salt as required
Making corn salad
1- First, boil 3 cups corns.
2-Add the corn kernels in a mixing bowl.
3-Now, add 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, ½ cup finely chopped cucumber, and 1 tbsp chopped coriander or 1/2 tbsp chopped parsley.
4-Sprinkle 1/4 tsp red chili powder and 1/4 tsp cumin powder.
5-Also, add 1 tsp lemon juice. Add as per your taste preferences.
6-Mix and toss everything very well. Serve sweet corn salad immediately. Or you can put it in the fridge for cooling and serve later.
1-Add all the fruits to a large mixing bowl. 2-In a small mixing bowl, whisk together then add honey, lime zest, and lime juice as per your taste. 3- Pour over fruit and toss to evenly coat, serve immediately.
